FirmGreen solar energy provides clients with reduced environmental impact for their property while lowering operational costs.Environmentally sound energy management contributes to a profitable enterprise through lowered utility costs for heating and cooling as well as providing on-site generation for all or part of the owner's electrical power needs.

Solar projects typically are used to reduce operating costs in one or more ways:

  • by utlizing solar systems to produce electricty for a facilty
  • by utlizing solar collectors to heat water and provide space heating for indoor facilities
  • with solar collectors that focus sunlight to illuminate building interiors

Solar economics depend on local factors such as sun strength, electricity prices, state incentives and net metering policies.

An important first step is to find out if your home is a good candidate for solar
by determining the approximate size and cost of a solar system and the savings
you will see over your current energy costs. The Solar Estimator at right can
help you find out.
