Smart Plant™ enables FirmGreen's to maximize efficiency of solar systems, enabling more profitable operation of PV systems for micro-grid and utility scale grid systems.
The Smart Plant platform integrates with FirmGreen’s proprietary photo-voltaic (PV) monitoring and system, and integrates data from any inverter or revenue-grade meter to provide a complete, web based monitoring and control solution for PV installations. The system is able to provide real-time energy consumption data, enabling connected customers to schedule activities with higher power consumption to take advantage of off-peak rates when power must be drawn from the local grid.
FirmGreen monitors the output of individual solar panels and whole systems allowing us to be proactive in both operations and maintenance activities. Through this real time artificial intelligence based system, our PV installations generate up to 20% more power than a PV system without Smart Plant.
