Company Profile
Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, FirmGreen, Inc., is a privately held,
integrated energy company
participating in virtually all aspects of the global green energy business.
FirmGreen® identifies,
develops and commercializes new and emerging technologies, and alternative
fuels that promise
to play an increasingly important role in the world's energy mix.
FirmGreen project locations: Brazil, USA - California, Indiana, Ohio, Puerto Rico
Patented Technology to Clean Biogas
FirmGreen’s patented and proprietary technology includes methods
of converting solid, liquid and gaseous
hydrocarbons from readily available renewable resources including landfill
gas, forest residues, and biomass,
into renewable electricity and clean biofuels to power vehicles and fuel
cells. FGI has the unmatched ability to process
BTU fuel feedstock from such sources as landfills, stranded natural gas
fields, and biomass, into the types of alternative,
low carbon-emitting transportation fuels required to meet emerging fuel
standards for 2010 and beyond.
Renewable Energy & Alternative Fuels
A wide variety of fuels from renewable sources can be produced, including
compressed natural gas(CNG), methanol,
and hydrogen. In addition, our technology platform enables production
of a variety of other commodities: carbon
dioxide (CO2) can be collected, processed and reused to improve crop growth
in greenhouses. In the form of dry ice, CO2
is a widely used coolant and may be used as a non-toxic cleaning agent.
Dimethyl ester (DME) can be used in a variety of
industrial applications such as a flame retardant, hydraulic fluid, antistatic
agent and for other textile uses.

FirmGreen’s capabilities include hydrogen production from renewable
resources, such as landfill gas
and biomass, and on-site hydrogen via electrolysis production using wind
generated electricity.
FirmGreen’s comprehensive hydrogen fuel processing and fuel cell
system integration solutions meet
the needs of fuel cell system developers by providing reliable, cost-effective
systems that generate green
sources of hydrogen -- a fuel needed for fuel cells.
